Revenue Risk Framework v1.3

A Deterministic Architecture for Measuring Structural CRM Risk

The Revenue Risk Framework applies a fixed, versioned detection rule set to CRM export data. Every score is reproducible. Every finding is traceable. Every version is immutable.

If forecasts rely on pipeline data, the structural integrity of that data determines forecast reliability. This framework measures the foundation your planning decisions inherit.

Developed during MBA research by Jamie Connor. Formalized as a versioned diagnostic architecture and published as PRG's core methodology.

Design Principles

Deterministic

Same data, same version, same score. No analyst judgment, no AI inference, no subjective weighting.

Versioned

Every framework component carries a version stamp. Results are traceable to the exact rule set that produced them.

Independent

CSV-only input. No CRM login, no API access, no implementation relationship. The measurement is never influenced by a service engagement.

Five Structural Domains

Each domain evaluates a distinct category of CRM structural risk:

Data Model

Record completeness, deduplication, and structural integrity of core CRM objects.

Pipeline

Deal progression, stage structure, velocity patterns, and pipeline coverage ratios.

Activity & SLA

Lead response timing, engagement cadence, and follow-up consistency.

Lead Management

Source attribution, record assignment, and conversion tracking completeness.

Reporting

Field population rates required for accurate forecasting: amounts, dates, stages, owners.

Composite Exposure Index (CEI)

The CEI is a single score on a 0–100 scale that summarizes structural exposure. Computed by aggregating domain-level detection results through a fixed weighting model. The weighting model is versioned and does not change between clients or runs.

Integrity
Emerging
Material
Critical
Integrity

Low structural exposure. Core controls functioning.

Emerging

Moderate exposure. Structural gaps present and compounding.

Material

Significant exposure. Revenue visibility compromised.

Critical

Severe structural risk. Immediate intervention warranted.

Issuance Standards & Version Control

Every diagnostic is held to the same issuance criteria before results are released.

Intake Validation

File format, schema, and encoding verified. Corrupted or incompatible uploads rejected.

Data Reliability Grade

Schema completeness scored HIGH, MODERATE, or LOW.

Sufficiency Thresholds

Minimum record counts and rule eligibility gates enforced.

Version Stamps

Every diagnostic carries version stamps. Results are comparable only under the same version set. Current: RRF v1.3 · CM v2.1 · IP v1.0

Version 1.3 expanded pipeline governance detection by introducing close-date lapse monitoring and enhanced temporal anomaly detection, allowing the framework to surface structurally overdue pipeline that activity-based models often miss.
